Someone recently recommended that I get a titanium cutting board, which I had never heard of prior. I’m prepping and cooking constantly, and don’t care for wood as they are porous and usually heavy. Poly boards are lighter and I feel also more sanitary, but after some use, they can become grooved and hard to clean. The titanium board was sleek, solid, lightweight, attractive, and works wonderfully. Being titanium, it doesn’t get grooved or marred from cutting, won’t stain or absorb, and washes clean with ease, making this very safe and sanitary. I only concern was the material dulling my knives, but it really doesn’t seem to affect them any more than cutting on any other surface, and I’m one who is always sharpening my knives as I use them, so dulling turned out to be a non-issue. I also really like the clean, modern look of this cutting board, so instead of keeping it stored in a cabinet, I keep it out and hung above my back splash where it both looks great and is easily accessible. I don’t see myself ever reverting back to wood or plastic after using titanium. Excellent product.
