I love these.The birds are always hacking away at them–I get everything from a variety of woodpeckers to little wrens happily visiting them. I also put them into my platform feeders–where they work very well. The wind absolutely cannot blow them away (as it does loose seed) because they’re heavy. Nor can the larger birds just flick seeds out.I will be buying these repeatedly. I especially like that there are insects in them. Many birds depend on insect proteins.
