Update: buy another one. The color wore off one of the keys after only two months. I’m using the clear one now while I shop around for a replacement.The colors are so pretty. Feels a little odd to type on initially, but since starting this review I’m already not making mistakes, so obviously going to adjust quickly. the mat (being very thin) does not have the obtuse feeling as another one that came with my case I had tried. It does sit around the keys rather than floating on top. But I’m sure that will get even better as it sits on the keys longer, and not folding up in my mailbox in 100 degree heat.The negative is that the printed letters don’t line up with the keys. I’m sure that they didn’t even try because the size of the letters themselves are not exactly the same. Honestly this is not a huge issue for me, if the mat was opaque than the letters wouldn’t show through and the colors would be brighter, but then the lights wouldn’t show through at all, which they do. And I can see the caps lock light also. Overall 5 stars. They did give me the free clear one. Which I guess I could use if the off lettering really bothered me, and it would protect my keys. But this one is too cute and comfortable to type with, and I’m going to use it. And look, typing on it is second nature already.
